Orlando 2016, o mundo ocidental sentiu a dor de perder um filho, uma filha, de namorados viúvos, de amizades arrancadas com as unhas, histórias de vida soterradas muito além dos sete palmos, porque é esse o sentimento quando tudo isto nos é despedaçado desta forma brutal, egocêntrica, ignorante, assassina.

Dia 24 de março 2018 (5 anos atrás) milhares e milhares de pessoas convocadas pelos jovens responderam numa Marcha massiva contra a venda de armas, uma Marcha que começou em todo o país e foi desaguar em Washington.

Uma cultura que desde o faroeste acredita que é no cano de uma qualquer arma que reside a resposta para quase tudo, uma sociedade onde MAIS, representa melhor, mesmo que não o seja de fato.

Este é o país onde as prioridades das pessoas parecem trocadas, talvez mal alinhadas, embaraçadas numa grande confusão de sentimentos e percepções. A terra que ainda tem inscrita em leis locais que é proibido desfazer a barba no alpendre lá de casa, ou saltar de paraquedas de saias aos domingos, (talvez porque é dia do senhor e ele não está para essas desavergonhices), A terra dita democrática, dita livre que quer proibir Drags e pessoas Trans de ler aos jovens historias de inclusão, e ou de fazerem show, ou andarem travestidas nas ruas, que ignora que arte milenar não é digna de ser apresentada aos jovens estudantes porque serão impuras dada a sua nudez.

A fantochada política é de tal forma desvairada que hoje mesmo ser-se Trans na Califórnia pode significar correr risco de vida ou ser privado de liberdade.

12 de junho 2016, uma noite de festa na discoteca PULSE, termina com 50 mortos, baleados com um “fuzil de assalto, uma pistola semiautomática”, empunhados por um indivíduo homofóbico, extremista, de certo alguém com acesso a armas de guerra.

Ativistas do mundo, governantes de países livres e democráticos, pessoas de consciência, precisamos lutar as nossas lutas incluindo nelas a luta dos nossos irmãos e irmãs dos EUA, porque Columbine e Orlando é hoje, é todos os dias, as vidas daqueles que enfrentam numa corrida pela sobrevivência, a ignorância e a sede política de uns quantos.
